What’s Happening…
FROM DML
> HOLLYWEIRD
I love it when the stars align. In this case, the star is Dennis Quaid, who’s latest film about Ronald Reagan was a big hit despite the liberal media and Facebook blowing it off like it did not exist. Quaid took a big career risk this weekend when he appeared at a massive Trump rally to support the GOP candidate, stating, “It’s time to take sides.” My money says he never gets another Hollywood movie role. He’s be blacklisted, sorta like James Woods, but it’s ok. Dennis saved his soul and stood for his country. Amen.

FROM DENNY
>The Power of Milton
Last week was one of the craziest weather events I have ever seen in Florida. Hurricanes are nothing new, but Milton was a monster. And yet, what came before Milton was terrifying: countless tornadoes popped up across the state, especially on the east coast where we live. The Lynch family was all together, and we watched one form from the balcony of DML’s house (see video). I couldn’t believe my eyes. It felt like something you would see in the Midwest: a dark, miles-long formation of turbulent air ripping through the mainland. The massive tornado devastated a retirement community, killing four people. It also did incredible damage to our neighborhood — we will show video today on the podcast.
Milton has left its impact on Florida and our town, with many still without power. I continue to pray and hope for the best and safety of all those still suffering from this hurricane’s wrath.
> TODAY’S PODCAST

We are officially 21 days out from the presidential election. Early voting has begun in some states, which is good reminder for everyone to get their ballots sent out if you’re planning to vote early. If you’re voting on Election Day, make sure you’re registered to vote, and have your loved ones, friends, and even neighbors registered to vote!

II: WHITE HOUSE 2024
TRUMP 2024
Written by Denny
Donald Trump lambasted Kamala Harris over her performance in a controversial “60 Minutes” interview, which CBS edited to “fix” her incoherent, rambling answers and protect her from any backlash.
“Even ’60 Minutes’ and CBS, in order to protect Lyin’ Kamala, illegally and unscrupulously replaced an answer she had given, which was totally ‘bonkers,’ with another answer that had nothing to do with the question asked,” Trump said.
The former president’s remarks came shortly after Harris released a medical report from her White House physician, Dr. Joshua Simmons, stating she is in “excellent health” and capable of serving as Commander in Chief. The report claimed her most recent physical in April was “unremarkable,” and it described Harris as having the “physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the presidency.”
Trump, however, dismissed any reassurances about her health, doubling down on his criticism of Harris’s leadership abilities, stating: “She is slow and lethargic in answering even the easiest of questions. We just went through almost four years of that, we shouldn’t have to do it again!”
While Harris attempted to present herself as fit for the presidency, Trump’s team quickly contrasted his health status. Steven Cheung, Trump’s campaign spokesperson, emphasized that Trump has consistently released health updates, even after surviving an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania last July.
Cheung reiterated, “All [Trump's medical reports] have concluded he is in perfect and excellent health to be Commander in Chief.”

HARRIS 2024
Written by DML
A new poll from AAPI Data and the Associated Press reveals that most Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AAPI) voters view Vice President Kamala Harris as more effective than Trump across key issues.
As for the Asians, this is a shock considering most are hard working people who would prefer pay less in taxes. As for the Hawaiians, perhaps they’ve spent too much time in the sun, or maybe they were hit in the head with coconuts, who knows. I say we sell Hawaii to Japan and send back the blue Asians. Just kidding.
The survey, conducted between September 3 and 9, indicates Harris holds an edge even on topics typically favorable to Trump, such as economics and immigration, leading 41%- 34% and 42%- 35%, respectively.
The poll also shows Harris is slightly ahead of Trump in crime with AAPI voters, with a 39%-33% margin. Harris has a commanding lead on social issues, though, securing 65%-16% on abortion, 64%-15% on race and inequality, and 59%-19% on healthcare with AAPI voters.
ALSO: Former President Barack Obama recently urged Black men to show greater enthusiasm for Harris. Meanwhile, Trump’s gains with Black male voters—a traditionally strong Democratic base—have caught the attention of Democrats.
III: BORDERLESS
Written by Ryan
Federal prosecutors charged 25-year-old Ricardo Prieto-Simental, a Mexican national, for attacking and biting a Border Patrol agent near Santa Teresa, New Mexico, in September.
The Department of Justice also announced charges against other migrants for assaults on Border Patrol agents in the El Paso Sector. The incident occurred on September 19 near Sunland Park, where Prieto-Simental allegedly punched and bit the agent during an apprehension. This incident now contributes to the big rise in assaults against agents in the El Paso Sector, with incidents increasing from 46 in 2021 to over 70 this year.
The U.S. Attorney's Office in Albuquerque stated that Prieto-Simental fled from Border Patrol agents and tried to break a cell phone on a rock before throwing it at an agent's head. When agents attempted to handcuff him, Prieto-Simental allegedly punched, kicked, and bit one agent on the left forearm, leaving a bite mark and bruising.
In a separate case, 26-year-old Enrique Rodriguez-Salazar, a Mexican national, resisted arrest on September 26, 2024, near Santa Teresa, New Mexico. When Border Patrol agents attempted to detain him, Rodriguez threw dirt into an agent’s eyes. The agent then deployed a taser to subdue him. Rodriguez was charged with assaulting a federal agent and remains in custody.
Additionally, Erika Jasmin Lobato-Melendez, a Salvadoran national, pleaded guilty to assaulting a Border Patrol agent on May 29, 2024. She bit the agent’s forearm, causing bruising and abrasions, requiring the agent to receive medical treatment.
