Zuck bucks on censorship tactics
There’s a good chance if you’re reading this, you likely know someone in your life who has been censored, blackmarked, “fact-checked” or shadowbanned on Facebook. It might even be yourself who has been unfairly targeted by Facebook.
Have a contrary opinion on transgender ideology, mass illegal immigration, COVID vaccine shots, funding Ukraine, or even the ineptitude of Hunter Biden and his darn laptop? Prepared to be silenced on Facebook/Instagram/Meta! But if you’re sharing violent or malicious content or even calling for the death of Americans? You’re good to go! Also, cute puppy and kitten videos!
Unfortunately, this is how Facebook has fundamentally operated ever since the election of Trump in 2016. While it was indeed an instrument of change in terms of helping Trump in his first campaign, Zuckerberg and the Facebook team quickly changed tunes. It started with public comments trading insults and ended with Facebook BANNING THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
It only got worse. If you had questions about the authenticity of the 2020 election, Facebook came after you. If you had doubts about the efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine, Facebook silenced and banned your account. And now, even to this day, if you theorize the Chinese are behind the mysterious drone sightings, you’re fact-checked by a selected, biased leftist news organization and slapped with an unmovable digital label as a way to devalue your legitimate concerns.
I’m willing to bet Zuckerberg really thought Kamala Harris would win, and then that way, he can keep the status quo for a company that initially started as the biggest free speech social media platform in the world. But alas, Trump won, and many tech giants are lining up to gain favor with Trump — and that definitely includes The Zuck.
Zuckerberg donated a million dollars to the inaugural fund, but he is now going a step further. In a five-minute released video today, Zuckerberg explained some upcoming changes to Facebook:
Censorship barriers on “untouchable” topics will be lifted (immigration, trans issues, etc.).
Content policies will be simplified and transparent.
Scaling back enforcement on politically-affiliated or themed accounts.
“Fact-checkers” will be replaced by Community Notes.
Meta’s content moderation operations will move from California to Texas.
(Geez, this is starting to sound similar to another big social media company owned by another influential billionaire… maybe Musk will be given some credit for the copied ideas?)
The five-minute video at this stage is just a classic case of talking the talk. But now Zuck needs to walk the walk. As he said in his video, even 1% of censorship of Facebook accounts will equal out to millions of people impacted. Elon Musk might be scaling X, but globally, Facebook has over 3 billion users and accounts, remaining the top dog in social media platform population.
DML is one of the many selectively targeted conservatives on Facebook. With a booming followership of over a million people, DML has been repeatedly silenced and demonetized by Facebook for years to no end. His account has even been stifled from growing naturally due to his support for Trump, pro-America conservatives, mass deportations, warnings on the COVID jab, and much, much more.
And while Zuckerberg may prove his remarks valid in the next few months by fundamentally altering the current version of Facebook — UFC CEO Dana White, a fierce Trump ally, has been brought on to the Meta executive board after all, a sign of positive potential — too much damage has already been done.
I mean, honestly: how do you become the youngest billionaire ever with the biggest social media platform in the world and fumble it all so terribly? Well, somehow, Zuck found a way.

Greenland, Canada, Panama, Oh My!
President-elect Donald Trump has recently expressed a provocative interest in expanding U.S. territorial control, suggesting Canada could become the 51st state following the abrupt end of Justin Trudeau's tenure as Prime Minister. Trump has publicly mused about this idea, referring to Canada as potentially the "Great State of Canada" and suggesting it would benefit from U.S. tax cuts and military protection.
Simultaneously, Trump has stirred international controversy by proposing to reacquire the Panama Canal, claiming that Panama charges "ridiculous fees" to U.S. ships and hinting at using "economic force" to bring it back under American control. His statements regarding the canal have been met with strong rebuttals from Panamanian leadership, asserting their sovereignty over this vital waterway. But Trump’s persistence, including mentioning the American lives lost to build the infamous canal, is an indicator of an aggressive foreign policy approach to opponents.
Additionally, Trump has reignited interest in acquiring Greenland, a semi-autonomous Danish territory, by stating it is an "absolute necessity" for U.S. national security and energy independence. Don Jr. traveled to Greenland this week to further this agenda to discuss its potential acquisition, displaying the Trump administration’s aggressive plan for territorial expansion of the Arctic island.

Pocahontas focusing on… the threat of tattoos?
Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts sent a critical letter on Monday to President-elect Trump’s Defense Secretary nominee, Pete Hegseth, outlining her opposition to his appointment.
Warren cited concerns about his qualifications, including unproven allegations of sexual misconduct, excessive drinking, disregard for female servicemembers, support for war crimes, politicizing the military, and undermining diversity and readiness in the Department of Defense… and yada yada.
Pocahon— er, Warren, also questioned Hegseth’s views on veterans' benefits, financial management, and access to birth control for servicemembers. She then concluded her letter by expressing doubts about his suitability for the role because of his Christian tattoo.
“You were also removed from President Biden’s inauguration because of concerns that you were an insider threat after reports that your “Deus Vult” tattoo “was a Christian expression associated with right-wing extremism,” writes Warren. “We cannot have a Defense Secretary whose fellow servicemembers feel concerned enough about to report as a potential insider threat.”
Warren’s “congratulatory” letter is 33 pages long…
ALSO: President Joe Biden, a self-identified Catholic, awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal to feminist and pro-abortion activist Eleanor Smeal. Smeal, known for leading the first national abortion rights march in D.C. in 1986 and advocating for the Equal Rights Amendment, has been a vocal critic of laws protecting unborn babies. This recognition follows Biden's previous awarding of the Presidential Medal of Freedom to former Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards, under whose leadership the organization reportedly facilitated nearly 4 million abortions over 12 years. Honoring Laken Riley
Protect Americans, Deport Illegals
The Laken Riley Act, the first bill passed by the 119th Congress, was approved by the House on Tuesday with a 264-159 vote, supported by all Republicans and 48 Democrats.
Named after the nursing student killed by an illegal immigrant while jogging at the University of Georgia, the bill mandates the detention of illegal immigrants convicted of theft-related crimes. It also allows states to sue the Department of Homeland Security for harm caused by illegal immigration. The bill now heads to the Senate.
The bill was first introduced last year by Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga.). After it passed in the House, Collins wrote, “I’m thankful that the House passed the Laken Riley Act in an overwhelmingly bipartisan manner. No family should have to go through what Laken’s has endured. It’s now up to the Senate to work together to put this crucial legislation on President Trump’s desk.”
“Today, I voted for the Laken Riley Act to prevent the horrific and brutal murder of additional innocent Americans at the hands of illegal alien thugs,” wrote Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) “My heart still breaks for Laken, her family, and everyone touched by her life. I’m proud this was the very first bill we passed in the 119th Congress.”
ALSO: Massachusetts Democratic Gov. Maura Healey, who has opposed Trump-era deportation policies, expressed outrage after a migrant using the state’s shelter system was charged with drug and firearm offenses. Leonardo Andujar Sanchez, a 28-year-old from the Dominican Republic, was arrested at a Revere hotel serving as a shelter. Authorities found an AR-15 rifle, ammunition, large-capacity magazines, fentanyl, and cocaine, valued altogether over a million dollars. Read More Here.

Facebook LIVE test run [click here to watch]
During today’s podcast, which heavily focused on Mark Zuckerberg’s announcement of reviving conservative voices who were previously censored, DML initiated a test launch of Facebook LIVE to his 1.3 million followers to see how much the stream would garner in viewers. At its peak, it only reached a little over a hundred people, far less to the tens of thousands DML would receive back during Walk & Talk days before Facebook’s turn to political censorship.
