What’s Happening…
FROM DML
>Prayers for California
Apocalyptic-looking wildfires fires are raging through Los Angeles since yesterday morning. Fueled by 100-mph winds with no signs of slowing, so far two deaths, multiple injuries, and the evacuation of 70,000 residents, including celebrities, have been confirmed.
The winds have rapidly spread sparks, turning small flames into raging infernos within minutes. Authorities warn the situation could worsen, considering water shortages have left some hydrants dry. Maybe Californians should consider a recall of no confidence in Governor Newsom again…
FROM DENNY
>Viral Video of the Fires
A viral video shows one of the wildfires tearing through Los Angeles neighborhoods and captures two men and a dog trapped in a home surrounded by the fires. Filmed from the kitchen, the footage shows massive flames raging just outside the windows, with strong winds pushing the fire dangerously close to engulfing the house.
We discuss the raging wildfires on today’s podcast…

FROM RYAN
>Mayor Karen MIA
As LA and its neighborhoods burn, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is nowhere to be found. Instead, she is busy attending the inauguration of Ghana’s president… Not to mention, she authorized cutting the budget of the Los Angeles Fire Department by a staggering $17.6 million this financial year. I think LA residents need to recall their mayor too…

II: WHITE HOUSE 2025
TRUMP 2025
President-elect Donald Trump filed an emergency petition with the U.S. Supreme Court Wednesday to block his January 10 sentencing in New York v. Trump.
The sentencing follows a jury's guilty verdict for falsifying business records, based on Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg's investigation. Trump, who pleaded not guilty and appealed the ruling, had his appeal rejected by Judge Juan Merchan last week.
“President Trump’s legal team filed an emergency petition with the United States Supreme Court, asking the Court to correct the unjust actions by New York courts and stop the unlawful sentencing in the Manhattan D.A.’s Witch Hunt,” Trump spokesman and incoming White House communications director Steven Cheung told Fox News Digital. “The Supreme Court’s historic decision on Immunity, the Constitution, and established legal precedent mandate that this meritless hoax be immediately dismissed.”
Merchan indicated last week that Trump is unlikely to face incarceration, instead opting for an "unconditional discharge," meaning no punishment but leaving a felony conviction on his record.
ALSO: In its final days, Joe Biden's Justice Department is focusing on framing Trump and his supporters as "dangerous extremists" and the incoming president as a "felon." A Monday press release highlighted January 6-related charges and arrests, and the DOJ reportedly plans to release special counsel Jack Smith's findings on Trump’s alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 election. CRAZY LEFT 2025
President Biden, 82, admitted in a Wednesday interview that he might not have the stamina for another term but insisted he could have won re-election if he had stayed in the race.
He withdrew his re-election bid in July amid Democratic concerns over his disastrous June debate performance against former President Trump, where he appeared frail and struggled to complete sentences. For months prior, Democrats had privately voiced concerns about Biden's fitness and mental acuity.
Still, he has tried to constantly affirm he remains fit to lead through his current term, and his team has insisted he’s been in excellent health and was capable of defeating Trump. Biden agrees, according to his recent statement to USA Today.
However, he also admitted he’s unsure if he would have the vigor to serve another four years in office, simply stating “I don’t know” when asked if he would’ve finished out a second term. Many of his answers to USA Today seem to be confusing, despite having index cards on his desk to help with the interview.
ALSO: MSNBC host Joy Reid on Monday described the Trump administration's 2024 transition as "a violent transfer of power" and "the most violent in U.S. history," showing old clips from the January 6, 2021, Capitol riots. Reid criticized the Supreme Court and Trump voters, accusing them of lacking "decency and dignity" and calling the transition "a violent transfer of power."

III: BORDERLESS
Ahead of Trump’s inauguration, Mexico is actively dispersing migrant caravans heading to the U.S., partly to avoid potential tariffs from the new administration.
Migrants are being relocated across the country, including to Acapulco, a former tourist hotspot on Mexico’s Pacific coast. Once a prime tourist destination, Acapulco now battles organized crime, a high homicide rate, and the aftermath of Hurricane Otis in 2023. Despite this, authorities are relocating busloads of migrants there with minimal support and resources.
The report states that Mexico allows migrants to walk for days until exhausted, then buses them to cities under the pretense of reviewing their immigration status. These cities, initially agreeing to the arrangement, expected the migrants to move on quickly. However, frustration is growing as migrants remain with no signs of departing; instead, they are sleeping in tents on streets and in public spaces.
