Going Nuclear

Today is December 17. We cover reports of missing radioactive material, Trump’s big press conference, updates on Madison school shooting, border wall protection purchase, Aurora PD confronts TdA, and much more.

I: THE DML REPORT

Biden’s newcomers at play? Or our own government?

Dude, where’s my radioactive material?!

Written by Denny

Radioactive materials are substances that emit radiation as their unstable atomic nuclei decay into more stable forms, releasing energy in the process. Nuclear energy harnesses this radiation, typically through nuclear fission, where atoms like uranium or plutonium are split to produce massive amounts of heat and power.

While radioactive materials are vital for energy, medicine, and industry, their use requires strict safety measures due to the harmful effects of prolonged radiation exposure.

It’ll likely be another December night sky where Americans, particularly those on the east coast and in New Jersey, will have to watch mysterious and unexplained drones zip around in the air with scarce traces in its intended direction, and even less so for its intended purpose.

It’s Iran! It’s China! It’s our own government! Theories are still abound, but are beginning to narrow. For example: we can rule out little green or grey men beaming down from these unmanned aircraft anytime soon.

And while speculation continues, the strongest potential theory involves a nationwide operational sweep of major cities for dirty bombs or even nuclear weaponry. This further becomes enhanced by the recent confirmation of radioactive material going missing in Belleville, New Jersey.

According to a Nuclear Regulatory Commission alert, Mayor Michael Melham suggested that the drones might be connected to radioactive material that went missing on Dec. 2.

“There is an alert that's out right now that radioactive material in New Jersey has gone missing on December 2nd. It was a shipment,” said Melham. “It arrived at its destination. The container was damaged and was empty.”

Now before we lose our collective marbles over the idea of radioactive material potentially confiscated by a foreign enemy or domestic terrorist, reports are claiming the radioactive material is a calibrating tool used in diagnostic scanning that was to be transported to Nazha Cancer Center. Meaning its radioactive danger levels are minimal.

However, the material is still hazardous upon unprotected contact. There are five categories of sources of radioactive material. Level 1 is the most fatal; being around it for only a minute could kill you. Level 5 is more equivalent to getting an X-ray. The material that is missing is Level 3, which would require exposure for days or weeks to be fatal.

So while this material might not be used for any nefarious weapons anytime soon, the fact that it was blatantly stolen and unaccounted for proves to be concerning. And it’s an indication that bad actors might acquire more dangerous forms of radioactive material, and our response to stop them might be too late in the game.

If the reports prove true and the material was stolen by enemies with ill intentions, it’s another indicator of the inadequacies the Biden administration embodies. Under Trump’s watch, come Jan. 20, these types of high-profile thefts of sensitive physical material shouldn’t be happening.

The next administration needs to reinstate a sense of nationwide safety and security in the country. The overwhelming sense of uneasiness regarding “the enemy within” feels more prevalent following the election, with some weirder occurrences nationwide and worldwide. But by far, the drone operations, missing radioactive material, and receiving no answers have led to an end-year hysteria of questioning what the heck our government is up to.

At the Mar-a-Lago press conference yesterday, Trump spoke in length about the drones and how the Biden administration is purposely lying to the American people and instilling an unnecessary amount of fear in millions who have witnessed their recorded presence through documented accounts on social media (and now local news media, on nearly every station).

“The government knows what is happening,” Trump said definitively to the press pool. “They should tell the public.”

I discuss the details of the mysterious drones with Alec Lace for today’s podcast program. We also discuss Trump’s potential pardoning of Mayor Adams and the Madison school shooting, as well as a different type of “nuclear” crisis — the systemic eradication of the nuclear family.

TRUMP 2024

Invest & Bet in America

Trump and SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son announced a major partnership at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, with SoftBank pledging to invest $100 billion in U.S. projects over the next four years.

While SoftBank is a Japanese internet and telecommunications company, the investment will focus on AI and emerging technologies and will aim to create at least 100,000 new jobs in the U.S.

This commitment follows a similar 2016 pledge of $50 billion to generate 50,000 jobs. During the announcement, Trump humorously urged Son to double the investment to $200 billion, showcasing his negotiation style as Son responded with laughter.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Trump announced last week that companies investing $1 billion or more in the United States would qualify for fast-track permitting.

School Shooting Aftermath

THE LEFT 2024

Liberals vs. Guns

Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, speaking on a CNN broadcast, called for a shift in the "context of gun ownership" in the United States following the Madison Christian School shooting. He claimed the following to CNN News Central:

“We’re [going] nowhere because it keeps happening. We know it’s going to happen again. It’s happening today. It’s going to happen again in the near future. I can guarantee you that and every time it happens, we do just about nothing. That doesn’t mean there aren’t things we can’t do. We could do things. We could support and enact legislation that changes the context of gun ownership in this country and emphasizes gun safety and responsibility with the firearms that you own and keeping them out of the hands of children and doing — and really vigorous, consistent background checks across the country. We could stop selling people — stop — you — eliminate the ability to purchase guns without a background check.”

Speaking before key details were released, including the shooter’s identity, McCabe acknowledged his gun control suggestions might not apply in this case. Police later confirmed the shooter was 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, a student at the school, noting it is already illegal for someone her age to purchase a gun.

III: BORDERLESS

Welcoming Unwelcome Neighbors

TdA Reign in Aurora

Aurora police detained 14 people after responding to a home invasion involving weapons at The Edge at Lowry Apartments.

This is the same complex that previously made headlines when Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang members took over apartments and caused residents to flee. On Monday night, over a dozen of these gang members allegedly kidnapped, beat, and robbed a couple.

The victims escaped hours later and called police. Authorities confirmed an adult male sustained a non-life-threatening stab wound during the incident.

Law enforcement confirmed the 14 arrests to the press, with some suspects linked to the Tren de Aragua gang. The male and female victims were forcibly taken to another location within the complex, where they were bound, pistol-whipped, beaten, and terrorized. Meanwhile, some of the suspects burglarized the victims' apartment.

IV: YOUR COMMENTS

DML spent the weekend with a few friends driving the pontoon boat for the local boat parade; while the parade was canceled due to bad weather, they still managed to get out on the water. Santa Claus (DML) wrote the following:

Santa got caught eating something he is not supposed to eat. But bad food tastes too good some times. In 2025 I am giving up bread and alcohol for 12 months to see how the body reacts. The bread is going to be tough.

FEEDBACK on DML’s Santa Costume & 2025 Commitment

Ann: I wish you the best of luck on this lofty goal 😊 As for me, giving up alcohol would be easy but a world without bread is a travesty! 😂

Eileen: Merry Christmas to you and Ms Mary and your wonderful family! Good luck on giving up bread and alcohol for a year. Maybe trying for three months, and you can extend to another three months. A year is a long stretch! Good luck!

Rodney: I gave up bread and started using lettuce wraps for burgers and sandwhiches. I was a big bread eater, not white bread though, and after a few months, I don't even miss it.

Donna: I love bread. Especially homemade bread. Wishing you the strength to persevere.

Sherry: You can do all things in Gods good strength. I had to give up all gluten due to celiac disease . Stopped alcohol & so glad I could by Gods Mercy & Grace. I will be praying for you. It’s a must to prepare & plan foods in advance.

Derrek: I've been trying to be more mindful of my drink choices, vodka and club soda is supposed to be a good option, a model I heard about only drinks that because of his contract.

Tracey: I have up bread a month ago and most foods with added sugars and I've lost 10lbs already and feeling better.

Beverley: You will feel like a new human!

Peter: Everything in moderation.
