I: TeamDML REPORT

The Gaetzkeeper

What’s Happening…

FROM DML

> Dismantle the DOE

President-elect Donald Trump has chosen wrestling mogul Linda McMahon as his Education Secretary, tasked with overseeing an agency he has pledged to dismantle. McMahon, who led the Small Business Administration from 2017 to 2019 and unsuccessfully ran for the Senate twice, has limited experience in education. She served briefly on Connecticut's Board of Education in 2009 and as a trustee at Sacred Heart University. McMahon supports charter schools and school choice but is relatively unknown in education policy circles. Read More Here.

I was hoping for my dear friend Tiffany Justice, found of Moms for Liberty, to receive the nomination. She has done a lot of advocacy work to get woke ideology out of the classroom. Hoping she still finds a spot in the Trump administration, or plans to run for office some day!

FROM DENNY

>Golden Gaetz

On today’s podcast, we talked about the power of Rep. Matt Gaetz in the role of Trump’s Attorney General. Below is a list of his actions and achievements:

  • Succeeded in securing $600 million in funding for military construction projects in his district.

  • Publicly criticized Dr. Anthony Fauci regarding the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and allegations of gain-of-function research.

Engaged in efforts to expose what he described as FBI abuse against whistleblowers and those involved in the January 6th events.

  • Gaetz questioned FBI Assistant Director Bryan Vorndran about the whereabouts of Hunter Biden’s laptop, before providing physical proof of its existence.

FROM RYAN

>Developments in Kyiv

The U.S. closed its embassy in Kyiv on Wednesday, citing "specific information of a potential significant air attack" amid rising tensions with Russia. Embassy staff were instructed to shelter in place as a precaution. This follows news President Biden approval of Ukraine's use of U.S.-made long-range missiles against Russian targets. Russian President Vladimir Putin lowered the threshold for nuclear weapon use, permitting a potential nuclear response.

II: WHITE HOUSE 2024

Domino Effect

TRUMP 2024

The Trump domino effect is impacting the deep state, or as Trump has labeled them, “the enemy within.”

According to the Project on Government Oversight (POGO), the inspectors general for the CIA and ODNI are stepping down ahead of the Trump administration. Their departures mark some of the first exits from the federal bureaucracy as President-elect Trump prepares to take office, pledging to eliminate rogue and corrupt actors.

Trump's choice to lead these efforts demonstrates his seriousness about instituting reform in these major intelligence agencies. He nominated former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe to lead the CIA and ex-Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence. The Biden administration previously spied on Gabbard under a program typically used for finding terrorists, and Ratcliffe previously served under Trump with DNI.

Recent reports indicate a "feeling of dread" among federal workers, with some contemplating their futures due to Trump's promises to "demolish the deep state" and restructure federal agencies. Federal employees have widely discussed these potential changes under a second Trump administration. This includes fears of policy shifts and the possible reintroduction of "Schedule F," which would make dismissing federal workers easier.

Sugar Daddy Sharpton

The LEFT 2024

Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign donated $500,000 to Al Sharpton's National Action Network shortly before he conducted a friendly interview with her.

The payments, made on Sept. 5 and Oct. 1, were part of $5.4 million in donations to Black and Latino advocacy groups to bolster her support among those communities. Two days later, Sharpton aired a video of Harris wishing him a happy birthday on his MSNBC show PoliticsNation.

“Happy birthday, Rev,” Harris said, using Sharpton’s nickname. “You have been over all of your years such an extraordinary leader. You have been a voice of truth, a voice of conscience.”

On Oct. 20, Al Sharpton conducted a favorable interview with Kamala Harris, praising her “extraordinary historic campaign” and calling Trump “hostile and erratic.” Sharpton's questions closely aligned with Harris's campaign messages, addressing concerns about her record as a prosecutor, where she was nicknamed “Kamala the Cop.” He referenced Shirley Chisholm, a trailblazing Black congresswoman and Harris's hero, to frame her candidacy historically and asked if male opposition to her was “misogynistic.”

The Harris-Walz campaign, ending with over $20 million in debt, spent heavily on celebrity endorsements and high-profile support during its $1 billion run. Notable expenditures included $1 million to Oprah Winfrey's production company, a six-figure sum for a podcast set on Call Her Daddy, $2 million to the National Urban League, and more…

Nancy Mace, a rape survivor, introduced legislation requiring House members and staff to use single-sex facilities matching their biological sex. Read More Here.

III: BORDERLESS

Justice overdue

Jose Ibarra, 26, was convicted for the February murder of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, a case that shocked her college town and fueled a national debate on immigration policies.

An illegal Venezuelan immigrant who entered the U.S. illegally in 2022, Ibarra remained in the country while pursuing an immigration case. Athens-Clarke County Judge H. Patrick Haggard found Ibarra guilty after a bench trial, where he waived a jury trial and declined to testify. Ibarra faced a 10-count indictment, including malice murder, kidnapping, and aggravated assault. Prosecutors alleged he was "hunting for females" on the University of Georgia campus and peeped into a university apartment window before encountering Riley.

Riley, 22, went for a run on February 22 but never returned, prompting a friend to call the police. Her body was found later that day, showing signs of strangulation and blunt force trauma from a rock. Arrested the next day, Ibarra's DNA was found under Riley's fingernails, and his thumbprint was on her phone. Investigators believe she fought for her life for about 20 minutes.

DHS confirmed Jose Ibarra was a member of the notorious Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua.

ALSO: Los Angeles lawmakers voted unanimously to adopt a sanctuary city ordinance, barring city resources from aiding federal immigration enforcement, such as mass deportations pledged by Trump. Mayor Karen Bass and her office drafted the ordinance with input from immigration groups, while council members expedited the vote to ensure swift policy approval. Read More Here.
