FROM DENNY
> News I’m watching: Upcoming VP debate
Tomorrow night is the big, one-and-only vice presidential debate between Sen. JD Vance and Gov. Tim Walz. We all know Walz is a wackadoodle weirdo, but Vance is the one to look out for. Depending on the election's outcome and the continuing concerns about Trump’s safety, it’ll be vital to see what Vance’s future will be. Will he be the torchbearer of the MAGA movement after Trump, or will it fall to someone else? I’m expecting Vance to absolutely demolish Walz and his political record, but will it be enough to sway the Independents?

FROM RYAN
>News I am watching: Republican movement growth
Recent Gallup polling indicates that, for the first time in decades, more Americans identify as Republicans than Democrats. Specifically, 48% of respondents align with the Republican Party or lean Republican, while 45% identify as Democrats. Let’s hope this translates to big votes for Donald Trump in November!

TRUMP 2024

Weathering the aftermath
President Donald Trump is set to visit Valdosta, Georgia, to address the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and to show support for the affected communities. In a press release issued Sunday, his campaign announced that Trump will visit the city "to receive a briefing on the devastation of Hurricane Helene, facilitate the distribution of relief supplies, and deliver remarks to the press."
"The American people are resilient, and we will rebuild Valdosta and every community affected by this terrible storm stronger than ever before," the campaign quoted him saying. “We are here to support our people, and I will ensure that every resource necessary is made available to help them recover,” Trump emphasized.
Valdosta Mayor Scott James Matheson confirmed to local media that the hurricane resulted in the deaths of three local residents and widespread damage throughout the city. The Trump campaign noted that the visit will highlight the devastation and reinforce the president’s dedication to providing assistance, coordinating relief efforts, and prioritizing the safety and well-being of all those impacted.
The storm’s devastation has been widespread, with more than 90 lives lost across several states, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and Virginia.
ALSO: Trump received a loud welcome from the crowd attending the college football game between the University of Alabama and the University of Georgia this past Saturday. Some of Trump’s guests included Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr., John Daly, Tommy Tuberville, Sen. Steve Daines, and Sen. Katie Britt. Check out the videos here.
HARRIS 2024
Written by DML
Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign pulled in $55 million over the weekend during two high-profile fundraising events in California.
But despite the cash influx, Harris's campaign continues to face hurdles as she attempts to gain traction against Donald Trump.
The first event took place at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, where Harris raised $27 million. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi delivered remarks, and singer Andra Day performed. The event was attended by prominent Democratic donors and celebrities, reinforcing Harris’s deep ties with the party’s elite.
Harris then headed to Los Angeles for a second fundraising event, where she collected an additional $28 million. The LA event featured performances by Alanis Morissette and Halle Bailey, and celebrities such as Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Demi Lovato, Jessica Alba, Lily Tomlin, and Stevie Wonder were spotted in attendance.
While Harris highlighted her economic policies and attempted to appeal to wealthy donors, she portrayed herself as both a “capitalist” and an “underdog." It’s another example of the ongoing hypocrisy of the Harris campaign…
ALSO: I saw a video on X this weekend of Harris advising a young girl on how to give ‘great’ speeches. Harris told the girl to imagine herself on the Titanic… was she referring to her sinking campaign? See my retweet here.
PLUS: Today, I will be writing a letter to the Trump campaign requesting an interview. More details on this — go to my Facebook page post.
III: BORDERLESS
Written by Denny
The federal government has released data revealing that over 155,000 migrants have been convicted or are facing charges for criminal traffic offenses, as auto insurance rates for Americans continue to rise sharply.
A report by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, part of the Department of Homeland Security, highlighted the large influx of dangerous, impaired, or reckless drivers.
The data reveals that 77,074 undetained migrants have been convicted of criminal traffic offenses, with another 46,269 facing similar charges. Many of these drivers crossed the border years before President Biden’s administration oversaw an influx of about 10 million illegal immigrants.
Additionally, 2,663 migrants have been convicted of vehicle theft without being detained by ICE, and another 1,593 face theft charges but remain undetained.
ALSO: In the latest reporting by Bill Melugin, the Port of Nogales in Arizona has seen a large influx of fentanyl pills. In the month of September alone, over 1.5 million pills have been seized by Border Patrol officials in Nogales alone.
