I: THE DML REPORT

What Did They Say?

This week, at Ethel Kennedy's memorial service in Washington, D.C., Joe Biden and Barack Obama engaged in a private discussion in front of the cameras that sparked a social media storm of speculation.

C-Span footage shows Biden, Obama, and Bill Clinton being escorted to their front-row seats at the service. Moments later, Obama moved closer to speak with Biden, with only the sound of church organ music in the background, giving the entire encounter an eerie ambiance.

The content of their discussion initially remained unknown, though it appeared to take a serious tone. At one point, Obama turned away, but Biden grabbed his arm, and the conversation continued, with both of them wearing concern on their faces.

The video quickly went viral. Everyone was speculating what was said, and what was not. But it seems we may have some answers to what was actually shared between the two.

I’ve always marveled at the gifts of specific individuals, such as remarkable athletes or geniuses with astronomically high IQs. And some people have very unique gifts, such as lip reading. This brings us to Jeremy Freeman, a London-based forensic lip reader who was born deaf and for 16 years has served as a University College London-certified expert in the practice. Here’s what he was able to translate, according to reports…

Biden: “She’s not as strong as me.”

Obama: “I know… that’s true. We have time.”

Biden: “Yeah, we’ll get it in time.”

Based on the transcription, it's to be implied that the “she” in their conversation is Kamala Harris. With polling numbers not doing her any favors, nor her strange and cringe-worthy media appearances and interviews, it’s clear the conversation was likely about her being a much weaker candidate than Biden.

The Biden/Obama spokespersons have criticized the transcription, claiming it does not accurately reflect what they discussed and that there was no tension. However, facial expressions and body movements always provide clues, and it’s obvious Barack and Joe weren’t palling around like old friends.

Many are now questioning what the implication might be in reference to Obama’s claiming of “we have time” with Biden acknowledging the sentiment. With less than three weeks to go to the election, there isn’t much time left on the clock, including the fact that early voting has begun in numerous states. So either Obama is delusional much like Biden, or there’s something up their sleeves that’s yet to be revealed?

Either way, the conversation contained secretive details, considering that toward the end of the video, Obama spots the C-Span camera and appears to initiate the end of the conversation with a still-visibly stunned Biden. In my opinion, Biden initiated a conversation Obama knew could not be held in public, and Obama tried to answer yet also dissuaded Biden from continuing it. Putting icing on the cake, Obama appeared to keep Bill Clinton out of the conversation. The former president was standing next to Obama and Biden, but was blocked due to Obama turning his back on him.

II: WHITE HOUSE 2024

Trump wins with best jokes

TRUMP 2024

Make Comedy Great Again!

Former President Donald Trump had the audience roaring with laughter at the Al Smith Dinner in New York City as he delivered a series of sharp jabs.

One of Trump’s most memorable targets of the night was Vice President Kamala Harris, who skipped the event — the first time a Democrat candidate has missed the dinner since 1984. Trump took full advantage of her absence, joking, “If you really wanted Vice President Harris to accept your invitation, I guess you should have told her the funds were going to bail out the looters and rioters in Minneapolis, and she would've been here guaranteed.”

Trump’s roast of Harris didn’t stop there, as he aimed at her tendency to dodge questions and her awkward laughter: “I was shocked when I heard Kamala was skipping the Al Smith dinner. I’d really hoped she would come because we can’t get enough of hearing her beautiful laugh.”

He then joked about Harris’s role in the administration, commenting on the leadership in Washington: “Right now, we have someone in the White House who can barely talk, barely put together two coherent sentences… But enough about Kamala Harris.”

Trump also lightened the mood with a playful dig at Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, saying, “Chuck Schumer is here looking very glum. But look on the bright side, Chuck, considering how woke your party has become, if Kamala loses, you still have a chance to become the first woman president.”

One of the more amusing parts of the night came when Trump took aim at “White Dudes for Harris.” Trump joked, “There’s a group called White Dudes for Harris. Have you seen this? But I’m not worried about them at all because their wives and their wives’ lovers are all voting for me.”

To wrap up the night, Trump didn’t hold back when he referenced Harris’s husband, Doug Emhoff, poking fun at his personal life: “The only piece of advice I would have for her if she wins would be not to let her husband Doug anywhere near the nannies. Just keep them away.”

The evidence will be released on Friday, despite Trump's attorneys asking for a one-month delay until Nov. 14 to prepare their counter-evidence… Read more here.

Desperate

HARRIS 2024

Kamala calls in the Big Os

Vice President Kamala Harris seems to be relying on the support of political heavyweights like former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama in an apparent effort to bolster her struggling campaign.

Next week, Harris will join the Obamas in crucial battleground states, where their presence is expected to drive voter enthusiasm in the final push before Election Day. Harris and Barack Obama are scheduled to campaign together in Georgia on Thursday. At the same time, Michelle Obama will join Harris in Michigan on October 26, coinciding with the start of early voting in that state.

The Obamas' involvement is a clear sign of the struggles Harris is facing in gaining traction on her own. Former President Obama has already hit the trail for Harris, appearing at events in Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Nevada, and is also slated to visit Michigan and Wisconsin. Michelle Obama, one of the most famous figures in the Democratic Party, hasn’t been a regular presence on the campaign trail since leaving the White House, making her appearance noteworthy.

Even former President Bill Clinton has been brought in to appeal to Southern rural voters on her behalf. It seems clear that Harris is leaning heavily on these high-profile endorsements to counter her campaign’s lack of momentum.

III: BORDERLESS

Deportation!

A majority of voters want illegals deported

A new Fox News poll shows 67% of registered voters support deporting illegal migrants. Support includes 40% of liberals, 62% of Hispanics, 53% of Black voters, 65% of moderates, and 86% of conservatives.

The poll aligns with recent surveys by Ipsos, Marist, YouGov, and Harvard-Harris, showing nearly two-to-one support for enforcing existing border laws, which protect American workers and families from the impact of cheap foreign labor. Support for deportation is rising as Americans feel the economic and civic strain from President Biden’s policy, which uses migrants to boost Wall Street profits through increased workers, consumers, and renters.

The poll also reveals a significant divide in support for deportations based on education level. While 71% of those without college degrees back deportations, only 59% of college graduates do, showing a notable 22-point gap.

The 14-point education gap among white voters on deportation is also notable. Despite the economic impact of temporary migrant workers on U.S. graduates, 62% of white college graduates support deportations, compared to 76% of non-college whites. Most southern migrants are impacting jobs of blue-collar Americans, but outsourced labor from China and India is impacting out-of-college graduates.

The education gap among white men narrowed to 12 points, with 66% of college-educated men supporting deportations compared to 78% of non-college men. Among white women, the gap is wider at 15 points, with 57% of college graduates backing deportations compared to 72% of non-college graduates backing deportations.

Nationwide, the gender gap on deportations is 10 points, with 72% of men and 62% of women in favor. The groups most opposed are non-white women, at 46% for and 50% against, and Democrats, who are split 42% for and 54% against deportations.

IV: YOUR COMMENTS

Being Kind

On Facebook yesterday, I posted the following: “Try being incredibly kind to the first person you see today. You’ll be amazed how it makes you feel.” Here are some comments and feedback from our supporters and fellow TEAM DML members:

Susan F: I try to do this every day, that’s how my mom raised me. She also said the ones that don’t respond in a kind way you should try even harder to be nice too, you never know what’s going on in their own life that could be making them behave that way.

Kimberly I: I woke up to a message in my messenger of a video about trashing Trump and I simply said it was so nice to hear from them and hoped the family was good and looked forward to hearing from them again! It felt so good to ignore the nasty intent and respond with kindness instead! I highly recommend it!

Gina H: Every single day I try to start with complementing a stranger. I love seeing a smile on their face, and it does a world of good to me as well! Been doing it for a long time and when I don't do it, I can see the difference in myself. So awesome.

Phoenix T: In my humble opinion, kindness is the best quality a person can have.

Richard G: My thing is try to do one good thing for someone everyday. If possible do more.

Dee W M: I make it a practice to be kind to others everyday. All it takes is your time and a willingness do something kind for others even if it’s just a smile.

Lisa R M: Since losing two of my three sons, the only thing that makes me feel good is when I do a kind thing for a stranger, so I try to do it as often as I can

Sherry Lee P: This is absolutely a daily occurrence. Humanity needs more kindness than people flying off the handle. There is more fear, violence and hate than I have ever experienced before. So I personally have chosen to go the Jesus route. Thanks DML!
